DURAN DURAN star JOHN TAYLOR has hit out at pop superstar MADONNA, accusing her of copying their collaboration with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and superproducer TIMBALAND.
Madonna teamed up with the hitmaking duo to record songs for her new album Hard Candy, and her single 4 Minutes - featuring the pair - has become a chart topper across the world.
But bassist Taylor claims the Holiday singer stole the idea for the duet from the 1980s rockers, after Duran Duran joined Timberlake and Timbaland in the studio for their 2007 album Red Carpet Massacre.
However, he insists he isn't surprised: "It wouldn't be the first time Madonna's copied us. She's been doing it for years."

beh appena ho letto qsta notizia sul sito d MtV.. ho provato a lasciare1 kommento nel forum,nn l avessi mai fatto,anke se lo sospettavo xkè i fan della Maddy sn deji stro..... e nn ji se po di nnt ke subito attaccano!Hanno scritto ke il nostro John voleva avere un pò d celebrità x qst kosa ke ha detto visto ke il loro ultimo album nn è andato mlt bene.....

DURAN DURAN star SIMON LE BON feared superproducer MARK RONSON "was on drugs" when they first discussed plans for a collaboration - because the musicmaker's ideas were so far-fetched.
Ronson joined forces with the Rio hitmakers for the Smirnoff Experience - an intimate one-off show in Paris, France on Wednesday (02Jul08) night.
The producer re-worked the band's classic tracks, giving the performance the feel of a DJ set.
And Le Bon admits that when they first held talks with the Grammy-winner, he was convinced Ronson was taking illegal substances because he was coming up with such weird ideas.
He tells WENN, "The first conversation we had, were we in Tokyo and Mark was in Germany. It was one of those telephone hook-ups. It seemed like he was on drugs, quite frankly.
"Because of the kind of ideas he was coming up with, we were just like, 'Oh my God, where is he getting these ideas from?' They were completely off the wall.
"But we were happy because it was so unpredictable."
